Participated in Alexander Brazie's 6 Day Build-A-Game Design Challenge

In this challenge, is to come up with a playable virtual table top original board game. Designing gameplay, getting feedback, and implementing techniques.
Genre: Battle Card Game
Platform: Windows PC
Engine: Tabletop Simulator
Tools Used: Discord, Google Docs
Team Size: Me :)
Role: Gameplay Design, System Design
Day 1
Day 1 of the challenge, I wanted to start looking into how battle card game systems usually contain in gameplay for my project; taking inspirations from Magic the Gathering and King of Toyko card games. Taking notes and making a short gameplay brief about my project before I flesh out more of the design process document.
Day 2
Day 2 of the challenge, I made the rulebook of the game; a very detailed and updated version of the debrief. Constructing and prototyping rules of the game such as 'how the player will move around the board', 'how would both players move each of their cards', 'how does the sub battle systems', and etc. With the help of images and concepts used in the game.
Day 3 and 4
Day 3 and 4 of the challenge. On Day 3, I created my first version of the virtual board game on Tabletop Simulator based on my debrief and rulebook. I added assets that will help the player navigate through the board game such as a calculator, decks for different cards, custom dice, and etc. On Day 4, I have to solo playtest the game, making sure does everything make sense, any mistakes, every design choice implemented was necessary to my knowledge.
